Completing Institutional Profiles
Earlier in your Huron IRB setup process, you may have already created institutional profiles (IPs) that represent other institutions your IRB interacts with as instructed in the IRB Deployment Guide. Now it's time to complete the process, which will enable you to transfer data to and receive data from selected institutions using the IRB Exchange.
IPs are used for any interaction with an external IRB, even for stores that are not using the IRB Exchange. Completing your IPs involves preparation steps, completion of crucial aspects of the IPs, and steps that can only be done once your store is fully connected to the IRB Exchange.
For detailed guidance and instructions, see HRS Solution Central for your release. The topic is under Contents for your release at Initial Data Loading, Setting Up Institutional Profiles.
Next Steps
Once you have completed the crucial elements of the IPs, your store is ready to use the IRB Exchange to exchange data with other institutions. Congratulations!
For information about how the IRB Exchange is involved in your review workflow and how to transfer data to and from it, see the video and quick reference that focus on multi-site studies, available in the Help Center within your IRB site.
